Parki ng is in the dirt lot by the Covelli Centre. Students are welcome to volun teer (preferably 16 and older). 15-year-old students are welcome\, but a p arent or guardian MUST work the event with them as well.
The uniform is a red band parent or student band shirt\, black pants or sh orts\, a hat or hair net (MUST be worn at all times)\, and comfortable sho es. Also\, be sure to bring a refillable water bottle. We have access to p op\, but we are unable to use their cups for inventory purposes
When signing up\, if you are a LEADER - meaning you have been train ed to run the stand and can handle all counting at the beginning\, questio ns our band member may have and counting at the end\, then sign up for the se spots. If you want to volunteer\, but are new\, sign up as either an AD ULT or as a STUDENT OR ADULT. Just be sure to sign up for the adult spots first if you are an adult so that students have the ability to sign up if they choose. We serve alcohol at these events so we need to ensure we have enough adults on hand!
It's also EXTREMELY important tha t if you are UNABLE to fulfill your shift\, you MUST remove yourself from the Booster Hub sign up and reach out to MichelleP@afband.org or call/text 330-718-5233 so we can find a replacement. Otherwise\, we risk losing our contract with the Covelli Center for not meeting Covelli's staffing requi rements.
Covelli donates 10% of sales to the ABP for all events we volunteer for plus we keep whatever tips we earn. ALL proceeds f rom Covelli go to the Points Fund to help determine point $ values at the end of the year. Without Covelli events\, we have no point system. So we n eed volunteers for every event that Covelli assigns to us. It's fast-paced \, fun work\, and you get to meet some fellow band parents and students. S IGN UP TODAY!
